ESP-12F ESP8266 Wi-Fi Module
ESP8266, 32-bit 80/160 MHz, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, PCB antenna, 3.3 V, 16 x 24 x 3 mm
Details
Surface-mount Wi-Fi module built around the ESP8266 chip, with a 32-bit MCU running at 80 or 160 MHz and a built-in PCB antenna. It can run your own firmware as a standalone controller, or add Wi-Fi to another MCU using AT commands over UART. It is the bare module for soldering onto your own PCB. It is not a development board and has no USB port. To program it, use a USB-to-serial adapter, hold GPIO0 low at reset, and keep EN high and GPIO15 low. Design notes: this is a 3.3 V part, so do not connect 5 V to VCC or the GPIO pins. Use a supply with enough headroom for Wi-Fi transmit peaks, and keep metal and copper away from the antenna. The ADC input range is 0-1 V. The photo is a reference image.
