Details
Small step-up board that raises a low input voltage to 5 V, 8 V, 9 V or 12 V. It suits projects that run from a single 3.7 V lithium cell or a 5 V supply but need a higher voltage. The board is set to 12 V by default. Change the output using solder pads A and B, as shown in the specifications below. Connected means the pad is bridged, and open means it is not. Check the output with a multimeter before connecting your load. The input must always stay below the output you have set, because a boost converter cannot lower a voltage. Available current drops as the output voltage rises, so check the limits below against your load. There is a power LED on the board, and it can be turned off using the pad next to it. These figures are typical seller specifications for this board design, as there is no manufacturer datasheet.
